It was a good day out for Comeragh CC on Sunday last at the Waller cup in Bohermeen. Jamie Merriman was our only underage rider that made the trip up and a worth while trip it was as he sprinted to 5th place. The prizes didn’t end there as Noel O Dwyer came in 8th place after being away in the break for the day with Tadhg de Barra putting in a great effort also. Ciaran continued his good run of form in the A1 race with an impressive sprint to take 5th place even after 3 breakaway riders managed to take the top places ahead of the bunch. Also worth a mention is Donal Kenneally’s performance, powering up to the finish to claim second. Donal is riding with UCD this year while he lives and studies in Dublin. He is now upgraded to A2 and sure is there any surprise there. Well done all, big weekend coming up with the tour of Ulster.
